Step 1: From your start menu open the windows Microsoft office folder containing the MS Outlook program.

Step 5: A new window will appear with the heading “Internet E-mail Settings (IMAP)” in order to begin editing your SMTP settings, locate the heading Server information located directly underneath the server information you will be able to view the incoming mail server and outgoing mail server, disregard the incoming mail server and focus your attention to the Outgoing mail server text box and delete the old server information inside the text box.

Step 6: Once the text box is empty you may now start to type in the new SMTP Server name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Step 7: After you have typed the new SMTP server name, you are now done do not change the other settings you only need to click on the “Next” button at the bottom portion of the window.

Step 8:  a new window will appear, now all you have to do is to click the “Finished” button in order to apply the settings you have made and you are done.
